Sea-kayak Fiji

Tamarillo Active Travel has been guiding sea-kayaking tours around Fiji's spectacular Kadavu Island group since 1998. Tamarillo is the only specialist guiding company operating in this remote, unspoiled region.

One of the world's largest barrier reefs protects the Kadavu group of islands from the Pacific Ocean waves, creating a generally calm environment for sea-kayaking, scuba-diving and snorkeling.

Multi-day tours can be put together on request, and are available year-round. The minimum group size required is just 2 people.
No experience is necessary. Customised itineraries are also available.

Day-trips and overnight trips are run by Tamarillo Active Travel for guests staying in any of Kadavu Island's resorts.

All Tamarillo’s Fiji expeditions combine sea-kayaking, snorkeling and hiking through a peaceful, tropical environment, far from mainstream tourism. Each trip is flexible enough to allow for a wide range of fitness levels. Past guests have ranged in age from 3 to 78 years.

No camping is required.  Accommodation options include small resorts, village home-stays and Kadavu Island Wilderness Lodge, Tamarillo’s own guest-house.
