Since 1998 Tamarillo Expeditions has been guiding sea-kayaking tours around Fiji's spectacular Kadavu Island group.
We are the only sea-kayaking company operating in this remote, unspoiled region. Each trip is led by indigenous Kadavu Islanders, assisted sometimes by international guides.
One of the world's largest barrier reefs protects the islands from the vast Pacific Ocean, creating an ideal environment for sea-kayaking, scuba-diving and snorkeling.
3-day, 5-day and 7-day tours can be put together on request, and are available year-round. The minimum group size required is just 2 people and no experience is necessary. Longer trips and customised itineraries are also available.
Day-trips and overnight trips are run by Tamarillo Expeditions for guests staying in any of Kadavu Island's resorts.
All Tamarillo’s Fiji expeditions combine sea-kayaking, snorkeling and hiking through a peaceful, tropical environment, far from mainstream tourism. Each trip is flexible enough to allow for a wide range of fitness levels. Past guests have ranged in age from 3 to 73 years.
No camping is required. Accommodation options include small resorts, village home-stays and Kadavu Island Wilderness Lodge, Tamarillo’s own guesthouse.
